Catlin Bowers, CMP
Senior Program Coordinator
Catlin’s interest in the hospitality management industry began at the University of North Texas where she graduated with Honors in the Hospitality Management Program. She began her career at the Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) for the city of Grapevine, Texas where she interned with the Festivals and Events department. After completion of her internship, she continued her work with Convention and Visitors Bureaus planning familiarization tours, group travel itineraries and supporting the Tourism Sales department. In a desire to work more closely with meeting planners, Catlin transitioned to the role of Convention Services Coordinator. This role inspired her to transition to the meeting and events planning role.
Catlin joined the Dallas Fan Fares team in May of 2015 as a Program Coordinator, learning the important skills of attendee registration, database management, document creation, and managing relationships with third party vendors. After two years of mastering these skills, Catlin was promoted to Senior Program Coordinator, where she mentors Assistant Program Coordinators and helps to develop standard practices in the Program Coordinator role. In August of 2017, Catlin earned her Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certification. Catlin specializes in sport and corporate incentive travel programs and her gifts of organization, attention to detail and inquisitive nature elevate each event she touches.
